EMBA Forum Boosts Joint Action among Taiwan,Zhejiang & Hubei

How should the collaboration platform be established between the government, university and industry to achieve an all-win situation in face of the important opportunity brought by the setup of Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone? How should the Taiwan, Zhejiang and Hubei companies promote business innovation while enjoying the first- mover advantage offered by the demonstration zone? April 9 observed the grand opening of HUST EMBA Management Innovation Forum on Set up Collaboration Platform & Create All-win Opportunity in Wuhan.

This forum was co-sponsored by HUST School of Management and Cisco Systems China Networking Technology Co., Ltd, HUST EMBA Education Center as the forum operator. It also had the active involvement of the CCP Organization Department of Hubei Province, Wuhan Municipal Government, Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Zone, Wuhan Jiangxia District Government and Taiwan National Sun Yat-Sen University. Over 300 entrepreneurs and government representatives attended the forum and listened to the speeches by the experts and scholars.

Government-university-industry cooperation and joint action among Taiwan, Zhejiang and Hubei spoke well for the high standard, authority and influence of this forum. This explains why so many guests from various trades have participated with pleasure.

The establishment of East Lake Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone is of great significance. This no doubt also implies significant opportunity for HUST while tailoring to a first-rate world standard university. As the host, HUST Vice President Zhang Jin declared in his welcoming message, "the collaboration between HUST and the demonstration zone is meant to be remarkably fruitful. HUST would blend into the Demonstration Zone, just like Stanford in the Silicon Valley".
