In honor of Mr.Tin Ka Ping's donation to the School of Economics, Tin Ka Ping Building for the School of Economics was unveiled on the morning of April 19.
The completion ceremony was attended by Mr. Tin Hing Sin, director of Tin Ka Ping Foundation and son of Tin Ka Ping, Prof. Lu Gang, Chairman of HUST Committee, Prof. Xu Changsheng, Dean of the School of Economics, Mr. Siu Hoi Ting, Tin Ka Ping Foundation Administrative Officer and Mr. Wang Qingsheng, ex-president of Huazhong Normal University.
Prof. Lu expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. Tin Ka King for his contribution. Mr. Tin Hing Sin said, the foundation will strengthen its ties with HUST and make more contributions to the development of the University.
Mr. Tin Hing Sin believed, his father greatly value honesty and integrity, no matter in behaving himself or handling affairs; for the Foundation priority is always given to students' moral education.
Mr. Wang Qingsheng once interviewed Tin Ka Ping as the writer of Grace to China: Interview with Mr. Tin Ka Ping. Mr. Wang said, Mr. Tin always put how to behave at the forefront. Instead of being confined to himself, one should involve himself in and think about how to dedicate himself to the community, the society and the country.
