"CNEX-AOC" Documentary Film Exhibition in USTC

The USTC station of the "CNEX-AOC" Documentary Film Exhibition, with the films from the Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong, came to the end successfully on Oct. 25th, 2010. Mr. Li Xiaojun, the director of "My Last Secret", showed on the closing ceremony, was invited here to exchange ideas with students in USTC.

The Documentary Film Exhibition in USTC was sponsored by the School of Humanities & Social Science (SHSS) and the CNEX Foundation, specifically undertaken by the Graduate Union of Sci-Tech of Communication and Policy (STCP) of SHSS. With the theme of "Dream & Hope", seven different kinds of documentaries, from the Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong, were selected here as a documentary feast for students in USTC.

The USTC station of the "CNEX-AOC" documentary film exhibition started with the film "1428" showed at the opening ceremony on October 23rd. After which, Mr. Zhang Zhaowei, the production director of "CNEX", discussed with students on the theme of "Home & Dream", and many of students expressed their shock towards these documentaries.

"Dream & Hope" documentary series, including "Music Life", "My Last Secret", "Hip-Hop Storm" and "Brave Father", have been showed in USTC during the documentary film exhibition. Besides, the international prize-winning documentaries "Puujee" and "Children of God", were showed as a premiere in USTC on Oct 24th and 25th respectively.

The "CNEX-AOC" documentary film exhibition has aroused an enthusiastic response in USTC, and many students expressed that they benefited a lot from the exhibition. All of these documentaries were spoken highly by teachers and students in USTC, who wish more outstanding documentaries entering into USTC.
