Twenty artists hold claborate-style paintings exhibition

Sponsored by China National Academy of Painting and China Association for Promoting Culture Lndustry, an exhibition about claborate-style painting exhibition is currently on display at Hall 6 and 8 until April 27, 2009. The exhibition attracts a total of 20 celebrated artists in the modern claborate-style painting circle, namely, Liu Dawei, Yu Jigao, Zhou Yansheng, Wang Tiansheng, Nima Zere, Lu Yushun, Jia Guangjian, Mo Xiaosong, Liu Quanyi and Chenjian.
The exhibition is the first intensive demonstration of the representative style of the modern claborate-style paintings as well as the works by most influential artists. The show inherits the principle of putting academic and art first, and selects 20 famous claborate-style painters in a bid to fully reflect the leading outlook and spirit of the contemporary claborate-style painting through their recent works on the themes of characters, flowers, birds and landscape.
