Deputy Party Secretary Li Huansheng and her Party paid a visit to Japan

From July 20th to July 26th, Deputy Party Secretary Li Huansheng led a delegation of Communication University of China(CUC) to Japan. During the time, they visited Nihon University, TV Asahi and Sea, a Japan International Exchange Center, carried on conversations with the leaders of these Japanese institutions, and signed Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Sea.
On the morning of July 21st, Secretary Li led the delegation to Art School of Nihon University and met with Noda Yoshito Dean of Art School.
In the meeting, Secretary Li reviewed developments of exchange and cooperation between the two sides and expressed hope for further cooperation for the future. Secretary Li mentioned that CUC attached great importance to the cooperation with Art School of Nihon University and hoped that the visit could propel the existed cooperative relationship further and took this opportunity to improve it in greater scope and depth. Dean Noda expressed welcome to the delegation s visit and introduced their current cooperation with CUC to Secretary Li. He also said that cooperation and exchange between the two sides had always gone through very well and made certain achievements in teachers study and cooperative research. She hoped that cooperation fields could be expanded wider from then on.

On the afternoon of July 21st, the delegation came to Co., Ltd. Asahi TV, Japan, on a visit and had a meeting with TV Asahi President Masao Kimiwada.
Secretary Li pointed out that CUC always paid much attention to friendly communication with media industry abroad and TV Asahi always kept friendly cooperative relationship with CUC in the field of talents exchange. In the coming September, there will be new exchange from both sides. The exchange is expected to reach a higher. President Masao Kimiwada said that it was under the joint effort of two sides that the sound cooperation between TV Asahi and CUC could be carried out in such a long term. And TV Asahi will continue its efforts to cement the cooperative program that already existed and develop new cooperation in the field of co-producing programmes and animation production.

During the meeting, Secretary Li gave a brief introduction of CUC and explained the guiding principles for running cooperation programs. He implied that Japanese language teachers study is only the beginning of the cooperation between two sides, hoped that it could be the opportunity to broaden and deepen two sides exchange and appreciated what President of Sea had done for the exchange between China and Japan. Then, the President introduced the exchange between the center and China. He was so pleased that they could sign MoU and establish the cooperation and exchange relationship with CUC. And he hoped that there would be more and more various exchange activities.

In 1986, CUC (formerly Beijing Broadcasting Institute) signed a "Memorandum of Understanding on Academic and Cultural Exchanges" with Art School of Nihon University. In 2005, according to Cooperation Agreement about CUC and Nihon University", two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on academic and cultural exchange between Art School of Nihon University and CUC". (Both Nihon University and CUC have renewed the agreement in 2010.) In September, 2009, Nihon University attended "International League of Higher Education in Media and Communication , which was launched and established by CUC, and became a member of the League. Art School of Nihon University and CUC promote academic exchange and cooperation actively through different activities, such as teacher exchanges, student exchanges, exchanges of visits, seminars, joint research and works exchange. According to the statistics, all types of visitors between two sides amount to more than 200 people, more than 50 people of which have attended the exchange of academic lecture activities
Co., Ltd. Asahi TV, commonly known as "TV Asahi" (Japanese: Te Asahi), based on the Kanto WAN circle as the main broadcast area of private cable television stations (broadcast area originally included Great Eastern islands of Okinawa Prefecture), is the ANN s (all Japanese news network ) core bureau as well as one of Japans five major television networks "EX Series", the core bureau. Since CUC signed M. o. U with TV Asahi in 1983, two sides have cooperation and exchange mainly throng various forms, such as sending scholars, delegations. Up to June 2010, CUC received a total of 15 students learning the language from TV Asahi; CUC sent teachers to further training in TV Asahi 26 times, together 52 people.
Ishikawa Prefecture is located in the Ch bu region on Honsh Island. The capital is Kanazawa, which is one of the three cities that weren t affected by World War II. The Sea president has been always committed to the Sino-Japanese non-governmental friendly exchanges and run Sea of Japan International Exchange Center individually. With his effort, a number of universities between Dalian and Kanazawa established cooperation and exchanges relationship. In 2010, Sea of Japan International Exchange Center signed Cooperation Agreement with CUC and began to accept Japanese language teachers from CUC into training school.
