Leaders of Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office Survey YUFE

Gan Xuechun, Deputy Director of the Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office, Shi Lin, Director of the Visa Office, and three other people visited YUFE for a survey of the university s policies and practices regarding sending faculty abraod. Vice president Wang Libin hosted the meeting.

Li Dingxin, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, reported on the university s practices regarding going abroad for business over the last three years. He also mentioned some difficulties and problems in regards to practical work. Deputy Director Gan said that the Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office supported the going abroad policies of our university, and said that YFAO would continue to support the work of our university as always. After that, Director Shi answered questions. He also explained the state policy and basic principles of going abroad on business.

Vice president Wang appreciated the support and concern from the Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office. After concluding the discussion on our university s going abroad policies, he indicated that we would strictly implement the state and provincial regulations and do a better job in the future
