It is well known that as one of the green energy resources, wind energy is inexhaustible. In recent two years, wind-powered electricity has undergone breakthrough development in our country but now is facing technological bottleneck restrictions. To tackle the problem, the authorization ceremony of Bachmann control system cooperative partner techniques was recently held at the School of Electric Power, SCUT, symbolizing that Bachmann Electronics, the global biggest wind power electricity controller manufacturer, authorized its techniques to Guangdong Key Laboratory of Green Energy Technology in SCUT, and Guangdong Dongxing Fengying wind-powered electricity equipments manufacturing Co. Ltd. to promote the development of the country's new energy technologies.

It is known that this is the first time Bachmann Electronics offering its authorization in China.

According to the authorization letter, Guangdong Key Laboratory of Green Energy Technology in SCUT will conduct deeper academic research and transformation of scientific research achievements to productive force on the technology platform offered by Bachmann. This authorization signifies that the strategic cooperation has been launched among Bachmann and the above-mentioned two authorized units.
It is said that with its headquarters located in Austria, Bachmann is the largest wind-powered electricity equipments manufacturer in the world, which boasts over 40% share in the world market, occupying the leading position in the field.
