Alumnus LI Dongsheng, chairman of TCL Co., returns for cooperation

On the afternoon of Apr. 2, the 8-member delegation from TCL Corporation, headed by its chairman LI Dongsheng, visited SCUT and discussed about cooperation issues.

On behalf of the University, Chairman WANG Yingjun warmly received the guests. In her introduction, Wang highlighted the new activities and achievements that SCUT has recently made in the production-education-research cooperation. She expressed that SCUT was willing to integrate relevant discipline resources for an all-round cooperation with TCL Co., thus to promote common development.

Chairman Li appreciated concerns and support from alma mater, saying that he would continuously enhance the cooperation with the University to realize a win-win situation.

The managers and technicians of Industrial Research Institute of TCL Co. and Huaxing Optoelectronics had a discussion with SCUT professors on the cooperative projects planned to undertake in the future, and the two sides identified an initial intent of cooperation on technological breakthrough, base construction and personnel training.
