On March 18 2006, prime minister Wen Jia-Bao inspected CNR Yongji Electric Machine Factory.
Accompanied by the director Dong Yu, premier Wen visited electrical-control workshop. Stand in front of a big cabinet, he asked: What is this? Is this a control cabinet? The Engineer Qin answered: This is a electrical-control cabinet for Vietnam locomotive. At moment, all electrical transmission devices of Vietnam locomotives are made by CNR Yongji Electric Machine Factory. Director Dong answered continually: The first multiple unit train of Vietnam Railways was designed under the help of CNR Yongji. Premier Wen said: I know, I have seen them in Vietnam.
Director Dong reported new products including wind-driven generator and oil drill motor. He told premier Wen that CNR Yoji exported 464 motors valued over 10 million US Dollars for North America in last year. Premier Wen smile: You have strong ability!
CNR Yongji Electric Machine Factory has supplied over 96% motors and 78% electrical-control device for the speed acceleration of China Railway since 1996. The market share of oil drill motor is over 90% in China. They are also supposed to be further inspired by premier encouragement and strive to build a world-class motor factory with high efficiency and top quality.
