With the great help of Pacific Power Development(NZ)Ltd, a new coach bogie was successfully passed through running test in New Zealand railway line. This is type CW720 bogie with 1,068 mm track gauge. The bogie was developed and made by CNR Changchun Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd.
In March 2007, CNR signed a contract with Toll company of New Zealand for supply 50 coach bogies. The bogie, with air spring and bolsterless, was made according to standards of international and Europe.
