A delegation of SMS Demag, headed by the Vice President, paid a fact-finding visit to MCC-SFRE Heavy lndustry & Equipment Co., Ltd. (MCC-SFRE) recently. The main purpose of the visit was to inspect the Thyssen Project and exchange views on the contract implementation. General Manager Liu Manyuan, Vice General Manager Zhang Shaoxiang and Vice Chief Engineer Wang Nong were present at the meeting.
The delegation members of SMS Demag made an investigation on the product quality and manufacturing progress on the project site, and then held a discussion with MCC-SFRE. General Manager Liu extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests, wishing both parties to have a smooth cooperation. Vice General Manager Wang made a brief introduction on the product quality and the effective measures taken for Thyssen Project. The relevant technical staff elaborated the production progress of under the said project.
The Quality General Manager of SMS Demag gave a full recognition on the remarkable achievements made by MCC-SFRE on the quality improvement and storage of spare parts. On this ground, he also put forward some new recommendations on the fittings inspection and the pre-heating inspection for weld assembly. During the discussion, both parties also entered into agreement on some issues encountered in the contract implementation, for instance, supply of auxiliary parts and communication of information.
The Vice President stated at the meeting that, MCC-SFRE is one of the most important cooperative partners of SMS Demag, and Thyssen project is a key one under mutual collaboration of both parties. He was convinced that MCC-SFRE was capable of completing the project successfully. Talking about the cooperation prospect, he promised to create more opportunities to MCC-SFRE for further cooperation in due course.
