On September 16, 2009, the show-flat decoration works for technical officials of Asian Games, which was contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC), completed in Asian Games Village in Guangzhou. And the decoration effect gained full recognition and great premium from the Construction Headquarters for the Asian Games City.
The Village for Technical Officials is divided into two areas respectively in the south and in the north, covering a floorage area of 147,000 square meters, with an accommodation capacity of 2,800 persons. Adhering to the concept of Green Asian Games , quite a few state-of-the-art technologies and facilities have been employed for the village (for instance, Trans-Vac Refuse Collection System, solar energy and renewable energy resources by Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP), energy conservation in architecture, digital community and intelligent home solution, as well as three-dimensional virtual simulation system), calling for high standards and requirements on the decoration works. With an attitude of striving for perfection and basing upon the rich decoration experiences, the project staff of SBC-MCC carried out detailed study on the decorating programme and concept for the model house. Thanks to their efforts, a splendid effect of the interior finish has been achieved, which is deemed to be perfect in compliance with the requirements of the Construction Headquarters.
