The 4th Expo Participants Conference of World Expo Shanghai 2010 was convened on September 23, 2009 in Shanghai. During the two-day meeting, over 800 representatives from more than 200 participants conducted in-depth communication with the Expo organizer on the exhibition issues, and paid visit to the jobsite of the Expo Venue. On September 24, 2009, accompanied by the officials of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau, representatives of over 40 countries in relation to the Joint-Africa Pavilion and over 10 countries of Caribbean Community paid a visit to the jobsite of CI Bidding Project in World Expo Venue, which was contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC).
As the common home shared by over 40 African countries, the Joint-Africa Pavilion under the CI Bidding Project is located on the No. 004 Zone, covering an area of three and a half standardized football pitches. Now the construction works of the pavilion has been nearly completed. The representatives of various countries showed keen interests on the joint pavilion which showcases the culture and lifestyles of their homelands, and posed and took photos in succession with the pavilion.
