A delegation from Netherlands recently conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Dutch Pavilion at the World Expo Venue in Shanghai, which was contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC). This visit was organized by the Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD), a branch of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Holland, and was headed by Mr. Walter van Weelden, Netherlands' Expo 2010 commissioner general. Chief Engineer Zhu Sujun of SBC-MCC for this project accompanied the delegation and gave them a detailed introduction to the current implementation progress of the facility. Mr. Walter van Weelden placed a high premium on the outstanding strength and capability showed by SBC-MCC during the project execution. He stated that, during the construction of the Pavilion, both parties conducted efficient collaboration. As the overall project is being drawn to the final stage, Mr. Walter van Weelden expected SBC-MCC to redouble efforts for the project purpose and strive for a smooth fulfillment for exhibition. During the visit, Mr. Wierd Vonk, Director of Dutch Pavilion, presented a special gift to the project staff, a piece of newspaper from Netherlands. A half page of this paper offered a detailed report on the implementation progress of the Pavilion and a large picture on the perfect performance of the project staff.
