The Hunan Highway Exhibition Hall officially was opened on Nov. 20. Han Yongwen, vice governor of Hunan Province and Li Juchang, former vice minister of Ministry of Transport of PRC visited the exhibition hall.
By means of material objects, pictures as well as acoustic, optical and electrical technologies, the development history of expressways in Hunan reappeared. Centered on the theme of "broad road of Hunan", the exhibition demonstrated the cultural origin and highlighted the essence of Huxiang Culture. In addition, the three major phases of highway development, namely accumulation, departure and development, were illustrated to commemorate the landmark events in the process of expressway construction of Hunan, reflecting Hunan people's "daring to be the first".
On the same afternoon, representatives of the 7th "Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao" Fellowship Party & Summit Forum on Operation and Management of High-speed Ways highly appreciated the exhibition hall.
