On Dec 3 tea-sipping party, one of the serial activities of 2010 Hunan Tea Expo, was held in Changsha. Over one hundred poets attended the party.
The event is sponsored by Hunan Poetry Academy, Hunan Tea Industry Association and China Tea Patron Shen Nong (Yan Emperor)Foundation.
At the event, over 100 well-known poets, experts and tea-lovers from all over the province gathered together and tasted tea on the site, composed poems, splashed ink to do some paintings, explored tea culture and promoted poetry culture, thus enhancing mutual understanding and exchanges.
Cao Wencheng, president of Hunan Tea Industry Association, remarked that the party will correctly guide tea consumption, build a strong tea brand, and actively promote the culture of tea and poetry, so that black tea industry will develop much better.
Meanwhile, the solicitation of Tang poetry, Ci (Song proses), couplets and Han odes associated with the charming Xiang (Hunan) tea kicks off at the party.
