The 6th China Changsha International Auto Show kicks off

The 6th China Changsha International Auto Show raised its curtain in Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center on Dec. 2. Some 650 vehicles of over 90 auto brands from 20 -plus countries and regions including USA, Germany and Britain will be exhibited in the auto show. This expo has hit a record high in terms of the exhibition area, scale and the number of new model cars.

During the five-day auto show, many magnificent cars including Koenigsegg, a Swedish sports car holding the fastest speeding ticket worldwide, Nissan LEAF, the world s first all-electric car produced in Japan, as well as Le Mans race car Peugeot 908 will be displayed.

Some world top auto brands such as Porsche, Benz and Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) will shine in the show in an unprecedented manner. Headed by various concept cars, the auto show will enable visitors to experience on site the environment-friendly concept which prevailed in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

In the auto show, there are about 10 kinds of new energy cars from home and abroad. Besides, the cars designed for energy saving and environment protection will be launched by numerous auto manufacturers in a bid to showcase the latest R&D achievements in recent years. The fruitful results in the promotion of new energy and hybrid electric vehicles as well as the application of technologies in energy saving and emission reduction will also be displayed in this show.
