The 2nd Hunan Tea Expo Unveiled in Changsha

The Second Hunan Tea Expo was ceremoniously unveiled in the Hunan Exhibition Hall on December 2nd. Ten thousand varieties of tea have gathered in Changsha from across the country, building up a new platform of tea culture exchange and cooperation for tea dealers, tea makers and tea lovers.

More than ten thousand tea varieties from over 1000 enterprises will participate in this expo lasting from December 2nd to 5th, among which 300 Hunan enterprises will promote their autumn teas.

Liu Xin'an, general manager of Hunan Baishaxi Tea Industry Co., Ltd, introduced that Anhua black tea has recently been selected as one of the top ten teas for Shanghai Expo and the 500-kilogram black tea brick shrined at the Hunan Pavilion of Shanghai Expo will make its debut at the tea expo so that Changsha citizens may have a ringside view of it. With a length of 2.98 meters and a width of 1.22 meters, the noted expo brick weighs 625 Jin about 500 kilograms .

It is learnt that the Purple Sand Crafts Exhibition & Senior Citizens' Utensils Exhibition and the 5th Hunan Paintings and Art Collection Exhibition & Home Decorations Exhibition will be held at the same time.
