The fiscal revenue of Changsha County reached 1.16 billion yuan in the first 20 days of 2011, as revealed by Changsha County Department of Finance on Jan.21, setting up a monthly record.

With the highest first-month fiscal revenue ever, Changsha County continues to be the lead among all the counties /county-level cities/county-level autonomous regions across Hunan province.

The county s strong economic growth momentum can be first attributed to the development of some major projects, including such infrastructure projects as Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Changsha Metro Line No.2 and Shanghai-Kunming High-Speed Railway; industrial projects of Sany Group and Sunward Intelligent Machinery; and such supporting projects as Songya Lake and Huanghua Airport City.

Meanwhile, the county has given top priority to optimization of industrial structure, industrial transformation and upgrading, and acceleration of industrial integration.

In line with the goal of striving for the first-runner in Midwest China and top 20 counties in China , Changsha County plans to guarantee an annual fiscal revenue of 8.8 billion yuan in the new year and strives to hit a breakthrough of 10 billion yuan.
