Nov-13 The Asian Games torch traveled through the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center (UniversityTown) on November 16th. As the representative of GDUFS, president Zhong Weihe took the role of the 49th torchbearer and carried the torch on its 120 meters route.

With resonant cheers among the spectators, President Zhong Weihe ran the entire 120 meter route wearing a big smile and waving his hands. There was a sea of red, five-star flags and Asian Games flags. Everybody present were in a high spirit.

After the torch relay, president Zhong Weihe couldn't conceal his excitement as he passed the torch from his hand only to say "Excellent". "To carry the torch is not only a personal glory to me, but also a communal glory to GDUFS. Hopefully, this torch can bring good luck to the Asian Games as well as to GDUFS", said Mr. Zhong proudly and excitedly.
