Launched by Swiss Consulate General Guangzhou and Guangdong University of Technology, Sino-Swiss Concert was held in GDUT on the evening of 19 October 2010. Named "Folk Songs", the concert provides a stage for Swiss soprano Ms. Alessandra Bo r, Italian contemporary guitar performer Mr. Gilbert Imp rial and the University Symphonic Band to perform western and Chinese melodies.
The concert is one of the Italian language Speaking week Series activities sponsored by Swiss Airline.
