University President Professor Zhang Xiangwei, and Professor Huang Yingzhong sign the MOU of Academic Exchange and Cooperation between the two universities recently. Also signed is the Agreement on Students Short-term Training Memorandum. According to the MOU, the two universities are going to carry our students and staff exchanges visits, joint research, co-sponsored academic activities, academic information exchange and other aspects of cooperation. According to the Students Short-term Training agreement, both sides will exchange five students each year to the other side for study of a semester or an academic year.
Established in 2000, the University of Kaohsiung is a comprehensive university located in Nanzhi District, Kaohsiung City. Currently, there are five colleges and approximately 650 teachers, with a full-time student population of more than 5,600. The school emphasizes innovation, novelty and features; its curriculum focuses on the integration of theory, practice and application. Its concept of "holistic education" promotes all round learning of the "adult" education.
