Upon the invitation of the Office of International Relations, Dr. R. Michael Philson from KansasStateUniversity paid a visit to SCAU on 17thMarch, 2010. Dr. Yu Rangcai, Director from Office of International Relations, gave him a warm welcome and the two sides discussed relevant issues of students exchange program in the cooperation agreement signed by the two universities recently.
In order to get a better understanding of the teaching, scientific research of SCAU, Dr. Philson visited College of Natural Resources and Environment and discussed the intended cooperation on plant diseases with Prof. Pan Qinghua. Besides, Dr. Philson also visited some laboratories in College of Life-Science and College of Engineering.
In 2009, SCAU and KansasStateUniversity signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. According to the Memorandum, the two sides will formally launch the student exchange program in 2010.
