Upon the invitation of Office of International Relations, a delegation led by Dr. Sakchai Choochote, Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand came to visit SCAU. Dr. Yu Rangcai, Director of Office of International Relations warmly welcomed the guests. Both sides briefed the basic profiles of the universities, and discussed the feasibility of student exchange, teacher training and scientific research cooperation between the two universities. The delegation visited the labs of College of Horticulture, College of Natural Resources and Environment, College of Veterinary Medicine and College of Animal Sciences respectively.
During the visit to College of Horticulture, Prof. Chen Houbin briefed the development of the key disciplines and introduced the research progress on banana, papaya, mango and other tropical fruits to the guests. The delegation showed great interest in the research achievements and hoped that the two sides could further strengthen the cooperation under the framework of Agreement between KMITL and SCAU.
