Closing Ceremony for 2010 Culture Exchange Camp between SNNU and CUHK

On the night of July 29, 2010 Culture Exchange Camp between Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) drew to an end at the multi-function room on the 2^nd floor of Qixia Yuan on Yanta Campus of SNNU. The closing ceremony was attended by Zhang Jiancheng, Director of SNNU Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, Xie Yongguo, Chief of the Student Section in SNNU, and Yan Wenhao, Deputy Chief of the Section. An impressive farewell party was organized for the CUHK camp members.

The program lasted for 9 days. The 18 members of the CUHK delegation, through visiting and investigating under the help of some teachers and the 9 camp members from SNNU, has gained more accurate knowledge about the geography, history, economy, culture, and customs in Shaanxi Province. During the culture exchange, students from the two universities have become good friends and they deeply felt a sense of belonging and pride of the Chinese nations. This program plays an important role in enhancing exchange and cooperation between the two universities and learning from one another for the students from the two sides. (Trans. Xue Wensi)
