Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony for2008 graduates was hold in Zhongnan Music Hall in Chang an campus of SNNU on June 21st. Leaders of the Party and Administration of SNU, including Jiang Xiule, Fang Yu, Wu Guoling, Zhang Weiping, Zhang Jianxiang, and assistant President Feng Xudong, as well as Prof. Huo Songlin, Prof. Chen Weiping, Prof. Zhu Shiguang, Prof. Qiu Nongxue, and Prof.You Xilin attended the ceremony. 82 doctors and 1,349 graduates in 2008 have successfully finished their studies and will leave for different places to pursue their careers.
President Fang said in his speech that the graduation ceremony, a glorious, solemn, and hopeful moment, was a testimony of the graduates success and joy as well as their march to future. He pointed out that the great achievements made in recent years, such as those in academic research and disciplinary development, was closely associated with graduates academic enthusiasms as well as the university s emphasis on graduate education.
