NPU Held Appointment Ceremony for Aerospace Specialist Dr. Chen Xishu

NPU held an appointment ceremony for Dr. Chen Xishu, a well-known overseas Chinese specialist in aerospace, as a guest professor. On behalf of the university, Professor Tang Hong, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, granted Dr. Chen the appointment certificate.

At the ceremony Professor Tang Hong briefly reviewed Dr. Chen Xishu's cooperation with NPU and expressed his joy over the Dr. Chen s appointment as NPU's guest professor, hoping that Dr. Chen will make contributions to the development of the disciplines in life science and aerospace.

As a native of Xi'an, Dr. Chen was happy to see China's rapid development in aerospace industries and to have been a member of NPU faculty. He hoped that NPU young lecturers and professors in aerospace would have more opportunity to the U.S. as visiting professors, and he would come back to NPU more often in the future and contribute more to the university.
