From June 8, to 12, 2009 China-Singapore Mathematics Education Seminar was successfully held at Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU).Dr. Kho Teck Hong, officer of Ministry of Education, Singapore, Nanyang Technological University s 12 experts and scholars including Professor Lee Peng Yee and Professor Zhao Dongsheng, and about 10 experts from SNNU attended the seminar.
After the close of the seminar, both sides made a discussion about further strengthening collaboration and exchange and in the end reached the agreement that substantive collaboration such as teachers exchanging visits and exchanging students on attachment would be carried out. (trans. Tang Zhenna)
