Secretary Gu Liya s Meeting with Delegates from Hanoi Jiaotong University, Vietnam

On December 14^th, 2009, Gu Liya, Secretary of SWJTU CPC Committee, held a meeting with the four delegates led by Ruan Weiyue, Vice President of Hanoi Jiaotong University, Vietnam. Secretary Gu welcomed their visit here and introduced to them the status quo of scientific research, teaching and new campus construction of SouthwestJiaotongUniversity. Gan Ling, Dean of President office, Qiu Yanjun and He Ping, Director and Deputy Director of International Affairs Office respectively, Qian Yongjiu, Secretary of School of Civil Engineering, also participated in this meet.

The delegates visit aimed at exchanging the application of scientific research program and management and the invaluable experience achieved in these fields, meanwhile, seeking further cooperation opportunities.

During the two-day visit, the delegates met the staff of Scientific and Technology Department and New Campus Construction Department of Southwest Jiaotong University. The delegates were informed of the information about scientific research program application, university management, achievements transition and new campus construction. They showed great interest in all these proposals and the two parties settled the plan for future cooperation in scientific research and university construction
