Madam Madelyn Ross visit to Southwest Jiaotong University

On November 19^th, Madelyn Ross, representative of George Mason University for 1+2+1 Sino-America Program , paid a visit to Southwest Jiaotong University. George MasonUniversity is one of the 18 American universities participating in 1+2+1 Sino-America Program and up till now, 16 students from SWJTU have studied in this university.

On November 19^th, Madam Ross had a discussion with the related teachers of International Affairs Office and Teaching Affairs Office on talent cultivation and student s credit transferring in 1+2+1 Sino-America Program . Madam Ross expressed her satisfaction for the first group students and the welcome to the participation of more excellent students. Yan Kaiyin, dean of Teaching Affairs Office, also exchanged ideas with Madam Ross and they made agreement on the majors and courses students would take in George Mason University.

In this meeting, we can also see He Ping, Deputy Director of International Affairs Office; Song Shu, teacher in charge of 1+2+1 Sino-America Program , and Han Xudong, director assistant of Teaching Affairs Office.
