SWJTU Honored to Become the Member of TANDEM Program

TANDEM Program, sponsored by the European Union, holds tight the belief to promote the cooperation and exchange of teaching, scientific research and management between Chinese and European higher education institutes, and engages in improving the education quality in both Chinese and European universities.

This program will benefit 245 students as well as teachers from the outstandingly excellent Chinese and European universities,and financially sponsor them to finish short-term exchange or diploma-achievement study at the partner universities. The proportion of academic study will take up 56% of the overall candidates. And the range of disciplines covers mainly agriculture, architecture, city and urban planning, engineering, technology, mathematics, information and so on.

Professor Qiu Yanjun, Director of the International Affairs Office, signed the cooperation agreement of TANDEM Program in Paris on October 15 2009, and this agreement made SWJTU member of TANDEM, which will largely enhance the interanational cooperation and speed up the international progress of SWJTU, at the same time, provide an all-round stage for the students development.
