University of Illinois at Chicago Professor Derong Liu Visits Southwest Jiaotong University

In June 2010, Electrical Engineering Professor Liu Zhigang invited University of Illinois Professor Derong Liu to visit Southwest Jiaotong University. During his stay, Professor Liu related his field of work with Ph. D students and professors alike in an in-depth academic discussion. In attendance were Professors Liu Zhigang, Wang Xiaoru, He Zhengyou, Zhang Gexiang, and Dai Zhaohua. Nearing the conclusion of his stay, Professor Liu held another presentation entitled Adaptive Dynamic Programming - A New Tool for Intelligent Control .
