On March 23, a four-member delegation led by LI Lin, SCUT vice-president, visited Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU). The delegation were warmly received by LV Xinrong, Li's counterpart of HKPU, and personnel from Institute of Corporate Development.
The two parties had an amicable discussion on how to intensify mutual technological cooperation and exchanges. A comprehensive cooperation will be promoted in fields of project bidding in key technological areas of Guangdong and Hong Kong, international cooperation projects, Guangdong-Hong Kong Technology Cooperation Funding Scheme and joint education of postgraduates, etc.
After the meeting, the SCUT delegation visited the Technology Innovation Building of HKPU, where the two sides discussed about issues of SCUT joining in the 38th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products.
