German Sinologist Wolfgang Kubin gave a lecture on Chinese Culture in USTC

Wolfgang Kubin, a celebrated German Sinologist gave a lectureon The Chinese Culture and Chinese Contemporary Literature in the Western Scholars' Minds in fluent Chinese in the ShuiShang Lecture Room in East Campus on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. It is also a part of the Rejuvenation Forum's series of lectures. This lecture was hosted by Prof. Shukun Tang, Executive Dean of School of Humanities & Social Science (SHSS) in USTC, which also was supported by USTC's Alumni Association Office and Foreign Affairs Office. During his speech, Wolfgang Kubin explained his feeling on Chinese culture, his understanding on Chinese contemporary literature, and also his experience in China as a foreign sinologist. Over 300 students in USTC enjoyed his splendid eloquence and his funny stories.
