October 26 is the 22nd Double Ninth Festival as well as the Elders Day, a traditional Chinese festival which falls on the ninth day of the lunar September. On that afternoon,a congratulation ceremony is held for the retired whose ages are among 70 to 80 in the University. Leaders of the University attend the meeting and more than 100 elders take part in this activity.
