Peiyang Chorus won the First Prize in the International Chinese Choral Competition

On June 4th, Peiyang Chorus from Tianjin University won the First Place in the Third International Chinese Choral Festival (Dongzhou Cup). It obtained, at the same time, the Best Language, the Best Performance, the Best Artistic Style, and the best Acoustic Quality awards. What deserves mention is that amongst the 36 participant teams from all over the world, the average age of Peiyang Chorus members is the lowest.

Their excellent performance was applauded by both the judges and audience. This contest was organized by Chinese Musician Association, aiming at promoting international cultural exchange, enhancing artistic communication.
