Hong Kong designer revels in curves, colors in latest collection

After the wrapping up of the four major fashion weeks in New York, Paris, London and Milan, China Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 is ready to kick off Thursday in Beijing, in the hopes of setting China's own unique fashion trends. Back from NYC Fashion Week, Hong Kong-based designer Dorian Ho shared with the Global Times his vision for the new season's style and inspirations for his latest collection.
"Black is making a big comeback for both daywear as well as evening. Most designers used black as the basis of their collections, with occasional splashes of colors, particularly orange, magenta and sapphire blue," Ho said in regards to the big four international fashion weeks. "There are a lot of prints in this fall collection mixed print and very bold geometric prints."
