A solo exhibition entitled Flowery language and heart image is currently on display at the museum to showcase the paintings by a young female artist Huan Xun. The exhibition is expected to reflect the observation and the feeling of the artist through the image of the flower and bring about unique aesthetic conception.
The artworks of the artist boast strong colors presented by the Impressionist artists, especially the passion of Van Gogh and the simplicity of Paul Gauguin and free distortion and combination of the characters of Pablo Picasso in the later period of the Impressionist School. Huan Xun has held solo exhibitions at such artistic organizations as the gallery of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, receiving good comments from famous artists and critics including Zhu Naizheng, Wu Changjiang and Fan Di an.
The exhibition will open until Mar. 10 at Hall 7 of the National Art Museum of China.
