Examination and Appraisal Meeting for Yunnan Provincial Government-sponsored Visiting Scholars of YUFE

On December 14, the examination and appraisal meeting for Yunnan provincial government-sponsored visiting scholars was held at YUFE. Vice president Yin Hong presided at the meeting.

Ten teachers from YUFE applied to the program this year. Experts from different departments examined the applicants in regards to their purposes, feasibility, construction of disciplines and language competence. Advice was put forward to overcome specific weaknesses during application. After this examination and appraisal, the applicants had a clear idea of their weaknesses and knew how they could improve, which would make them ready for the provincial examination and appraisal meeting.

During recent years, with the increasing international atmosphere and awareness of YUFE, the teaching staff who apply for government-sponsored programs for studying abroad are increasing in number.
