Former president of ZSTU on the list of the Top Ten Influential Educationists of 2009

Cheng Zhong, former president of ZSTU made the list of the Top Ten Influential Educationists of 2009 in Zhejiang province. The list was released together with the other two, namely the Top Ten Educational News Events of 2009 and the Top Ten Educational Newsmakers of 2009 at the final round of selection conference held in Hangzhou on 19^th, March.

Cheng celebrated his 90^th birthday in 2009, the 60^th anniversary of the finding of New China. Fei Junqing, Secretary of the CPC Committee of ZSTU, together with members from the Committee, the Office of President, the Organization Division, the Unite Front Work Division, and the Division for Retirement, visited Cheng and sent their best wishes on this joyful occasion. He is also remembered by the textile industry.
