The project of the engineering application of rail couplings dynamics system info and key technology on rolling stock was honored first prize of State Award for Science and Technology Progress in January 9, 2005. The project was finished by CNR Datong Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. and South-west Jiaotong University.
This technology has been used in the design of SS7E electric locomotive, a pioneer in the fifth railway acceleration, as well as high speed train-set such as China Star 270 km/h EMU and Chgbaishan 210 km/h EMU.
