Based on sufficient market research and through fully contact with customers for face-to-face communications, Foton Motor gained a real understanding of the thinking of the customers. Through benchmarking of the core points from such studies, Foton Motor developed the new product under the name of Forland Yuling, a vehicle model broadly in compliance with customer requirements.
The new Ullin comes with both diesel and gasoline powers, with diesel powers ranged in 0.5T and 1.0T platforms and g a s o l i n e i n 0.5T only. With added option sfor powers, the vehicle can be equipped with independent suspension to mainly satisfy the customer requirements in lightly handled goods transportation and driving comfortability as well as non-independent suspension to mainly meet the customer demands in loading capacity.
This vehicle model demonstrates various advantages in terms of greater diesel output, stronger power and up to 1.8L fuel saving per thousand kilometers in comparison to products of the same variety. The frame is 10mm higher and 1mm thicker than products of its kind for better endurability and the cargo body is of integrate rolled-in planking technology with less welding, non-deforming and non-eroding features. In addition, the cargo body is 230mm longer and 60mm wider than other products of its category for larger capacity and loading capability. The vehicle body comes with reinforced integrated side panels with optimized structures, exquisite metal work, better rigidity as well as simpler, practical and generous appearance; the body is 80mm wider and 100mm longer than other products of the same level for more comfortable riding. The front windshield is 30mm higher for better views for the driver. The clutch is of hydraulic type with light handling and reliable performances. The parking brake adopts the pulling type for passenger car applications for more convenient maneuverability and the transmission is shifted with soft shafts for better agility of handling.
