Two Parties Exploiting International Market together with Win-win Co-operation
On January29, 2009, Beiqi Foton Automobile Co., Ltd. signs commercial vehicle cooperation agreement together with Daimler AG in Berlin, Germany. Leaders like Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and Germany Prime Minister Merkel present the signing ceremony. The two parties promise to set up a medium/ heavy truck joint venture company in China in advance, afterwards, seek other similar cooperation projects in other emerging markets worldwide.
The board chairman of Beijing Auto Industry Controlled Stock Co. Ltd. and Foton Motor Group, Mr. Xu Heyi, and the general manager of Foton Motor Group, Wang Jinyu, together with Doctor R diger Grube, a member of Daimler board of directors who is in charge of the enterprise strategies, and Ulrich Walker, the board chairman and CEO of Daimler in Northeast Asia, sign the agreement. Guests both home and abroad as doctor Cai Che, the board chairman and CEO of Daimler AG and CEO of Mercedes Car Group together present the ceremony and witness the historic moment.
