The refractory lining under No.2 Blast Furnace Overhaul Program of Fujian No.3 Steel Works undertaken by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC) was completed on December 13.
The facility was put into service and produced the first cast of liquid steel on December 29. The Employer put a premium on the quality of fireproof materials utilized by SBC-MCC for this project. The successful completion of this project will enable SBC-MCC to make a solid step for the future market expansion.
