MCC Chenggong Construction Co., Ltd. (5MCC) recently announced that its subsidiary, Shanghai Steel Structure Company, has won the contract for the steel structure manufacturing project for two cement production lines in Morocco, each with an annual output capacity of 36,000 tons.
The General Contractor of this project is Polysius, a French corporation famous for process management and quality control in project management. The facility under this project, which weighs 7,380 tons, shall be delivered in batches and eventually finished by the end of 2009. This is the very first overseas equipment manufacturing project undertaken by Shanghai Company. At present, the company has mobilized well-experienced and skilled staff to set up the manufacturing base according to the requirements of the contract, in the interest of delivering the facility on time. Through this project, 5MCC expects to lay a solid foundation for the further exploration of the equipment manufacturing market in North Africa.
