The piling works of Chenming Pulp-Paper Project was commenced by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC) recently in Zhanjiang. As a large-sized national project, this works was approved by the State Council, and has been listed as one of the key projects for the forestry-pulp-paper integration program encouraged by the State Government. The project scope covers an annual output of 700,000 tons for Laubh lxer bleached kraft pulp (LBKP), culture paper machine as well as fast-growing and high-yield forest base.
This project is located in Taiping Town, Mazhang District of Zhanjiang City. The execution of the project will not only dramatically enhance capability of Chenming Paper Group for its sustainable development, but also play an essential role in the strategic adjustment of agricultural structure and the raw materials industry by means of the rich forest resources in the South of China.
