Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC) reached an agreement with the Yangzhou Municipal Government on Nov.26 to build new affordable houses and revamp the existing housing compounds in the city. The grand signing ceremony were witnessed by Chen Ming, Chairman of SBC-MCC, Wang Shilei, President of SBC-MCC, Wen Daocai, vice Mayor of Yangzhou and the relevant departmental officials.
The affordable housing project covers a planned land area of 470mu and a total floor area of 500,000 square meters. The project is to be completed in three stages. The first two stages included in the recently signed agreement covers a total floor area of over 300,000 square meters. According to the agreement, SBC-MCC will be actively involved in to the revamping of the existing compounds, construction of the major municipal infrastructure facilities and the related services.
