The sinter mixing system for East Anshan Sintering Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Group, which is under construction by Changtian International Engineering Corporation, MCC (CIE) on an EPC basis, is progressing smoothly and ready for loaded commissioning in April 2009. The project progress and quality have gained recognition from the Employer. On this ground, CIE and the client have determined to cooperate again, and entered into an EPC contract for the dedusting system transformation project recently.
The implementation of this works will enable the plant to make a clean break from the outdated mixing system which was developed in the 1950s. Under this project, dedusting transformation work shall be undertaken for the end of sintering machine and the straightening granulator system, so as to eventually limit the concentration of dust emission to no more than 50mg. Through these two works, the sintering production process of the plant will reach up to a higher level, featuring advanced technology, energy savings and environment protection.
The project was commenced on March 18, and is to be completed and put into service by the end of October 2009.
