MCC Jingtang Construction Corp., Ltd. (MCC Jingtang) was awarded with an engineering contract on March 20, 2009, for the construction of Yanbu Sewage Collection System (1st Phase) in Dali Town of Foshan City. The project is to be commenced in April and completed in December of 2009, with a contract value of RMB 292.
72 million yuan. Within a short construction period of eight months, MCC Jingtang shall lay concrete reinforced pipes (with various diameters varying from 600mm to 2000mm) in an average depth of 7m and in a distance of 39km. During the project implementation, trenchless construction (pipe jacking) method shall be employed for the areas which are along the streets, residential areas (where there are residential housing, stores, offices and roads).
By this mean, MCC Jingtang will complete the project according to the project schedule without occupying more lands for construction.
