WISDRI Digs EPC Deal in Fujian Province

On August 18, 2009, WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. (WISDRI) signed an EPC Contract with Fujian Sangang (Group) Co. Ltd. The contracted subject was a mill furnace, which was one of the key device under the 2nd Phase Project of the Main Rolling Line for the Median Plate.
With a contract period of 10 months, this facility will be completed and put into commissioning in July 2010. Quite a few advanced and mature technical process and energy-saving technologies will be employed for the contracted mill furnace, for instance, double-regenerator combustion technology with air-gas separation burner and evaporation cooling technology. The mill furnace with such processes is proved to be reliable in performance, being rated with advance technical level in China.
Fujian Sangang (Group) Co. Ltd. is the largest iron & steel works in Fujian Province. The 1st Phase Project of 3000mm Medium Plate Mill was put into operation in the early of 2007, and the production capacity has turned out to be 1.1 million tons per annum. The 2nd Phase Project consists of No. 1 walking beam type furnace, 3000mm roughing mill and No. 2 cooling bank, with an annual output capacity of 1.8 million tons.
The signing of this contract is deemed to be a major breakthrough achieved by WISDRI in Fujian market, which will play an active role in enhancement of WISDRI s competitive edge in the fields of walking beam type furnace and thermal storage technology.
